Kendrick Rd Winery

Due to demand, ground was broken on a second Marlborough winery, Kendrick Rd Winery, in 2020.

The site was officially opened in 2021, with further additions and alterations made right up until 2024. Automation, innovation and efficiency are a key vision for Kendrick Rd Winery. It employs the latest technology to maximise quality and yield on large parcels of Sauvignon Blanc.

Offering state-of-the-art 60 tonne central membrane presses, continuous flotation and Omnia high solids crossflow,

Kendrick Rd Winery provides premium quality, high-throughput processing of larger grape tonnages into tanks with varying capacity, starting at 125,000 litres.

Most recently, the winery’s capacity was increased with the addition of four 500,000 litre tanks, which were custom built on site by Tira Crown. Their capacity is the equivalent to 666,667 bottles of wine!

Trials of new smart tank technology are well underway at Kendrick, alongside a state-of-the-art refrigeration plant. It also features two static bins.
